SNAPSHOT

Hi there, and welcome to this site. My name is Mark and I am a registered member of the BACP who uses an approach that incorporates CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Person Centred Therapy and Attachment Theory. I have been practising for a number of years and also have experience working within education, for Childline and currently as a specialist working with survivors of abuse. I also hold an ISVA qualification which means I am trauma informed and have experience and knowledge working within the criminal justice system advocating on behalf of others. I have a warm and empathic manner putting you at the centre of your journey. I have extensive knowledge and experience to help you in the following areas:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Relationship issues

  • Workplace stresses

  • Grief and bereavement

  • Past and present trauma

  • Men and masculinity

  • Addiction

The above is a snapshot of my background and areas of expertise and as such offers an insight into some areas I have worked with but by no means all. Please do message me further if there is a specific need not mentioned above. One final thing to mention is that I live on a boat, keeping afloat is not only how I live my life but also my main aim in helping others. I look forward to hearing from you.
